The Fort (or Dollhouse)

This is an add-on to the swing set. Chad built it to add a fort to the top. We worked on it on Saturday and then Grandma and Grandpa came over Sunday and Chad and Grandpa finished it. It still needs a ladder but it looks great - don't you think? And it will have additions in time (paint, a slide, etc.)

Swimming Lessons

The kids started swimming lessons last week (July 27). These pictures are a few from the first day. They are doing great and having lots of fun.

Galveston

We went down to Galveston with all the kids while the cousins were visiting. None of us had been down there since Ike. It's pretty bare. There were a ton of dolphins out playing on the ferry ride. I don't think I got any good ones, but check out Chris's blog for some really great ones of the dolphins.

Father's Day

Chad wanted to go to the lake for Father's Day. The weather was beautiful. The kids are getting so much better in the water..swimming lessons are next month.

Bampy's 90th Bday Party

Bampy turned 90 and we celebrated with LOTS of friends and family!

Memorial Day

Cooper was feeling much better than on Sunday so we made it to the lake. There is also a special message for our Canadian cousins..just so they won't be too jealous.

Happy Birthday Mason!!

Sorry we can't be there to have any of the yummy cake you picked out Mason! But we know you're having a great birthday and can't wait to celebrate (again) when we see you this summer!! Hugs and Kisses! (It was Inside-Out Day ..or kids dress themselves day ... at school - that should explain the clothes - and shorts with boots)
