Last day of swimming lessons

They had to practically push Cooper to go down the slide every time (look at his face going down), but he would get right back in line to do it again. Kennedy is much more adventurous - no one had to ask her twice!

Cooper and Spiderman

These were taken with the camera on my phone so the quality is pretty bad..but you get the idea. (see his grin?)

Super Heroes!

Kennedy and Cooper went to a birthday party at Discovery Gymnastics and they dressed as a super hero. Kennedy was Bat Girl and Cooper was Spiderman. There was an AWESOME Spiderman at the party. Cooper followed him around and was extremely impressed (as was everyone else - he climbed walls and everything)! Kennedy took some time to warm up to him. I have some pictures on my phone that I will have to figure out how to add. But here they are before the party in their SUPER HERO POSE!

The Fort (or Dollhouse)

This is an add-on to the swing set. Chad built it to add a fort to the top. We worked on it on Saturday and then Grandma and Grandpa came over Sunday and Chad and Grandpa finished it. It still needs a ladder but it looks great - don't you think? And it will have additions in time (paint, a slide, etc.)

Swimming Lessons

The kids started swimming lessons last week (July 27). These pictures are a few from the first day. They are doing great and having lots of fun.

Galveston

We went down to Galveston with all the kids while the cousins were visiting. None of us had been down there since Ike. It's pretty bare. There were a ton of dolphins out playing on the ferry ride. I don't think I got any good ones, but check out Chris's blog for some really great ones of the dolphins.
