Memorial Day

Cooper was feeling much better than on Sunday so we made it to the lake. There is also a special message for our Canadian cousins..just so they won't be too jealous.

Happy Birthday Mason!!

Sorry we can't be there to have any of the yummy cake you picked out Mason! But we know you're having a great birthday and can't wait to celebrate (again) when we see you this summer!! Hugs and Kisses! (It was Inside-Out Day ..or kids dress themselves day ... at school - that should explain the clothes - and shorts with boots)

Baseball Game

Oops! I posted the lake before the game. We went to the game on Sunday and then the lake on Monday....Anyway!
Cooper's present from Mommy and Daddy was baseball tickets. Mimi and Papaw Ronnie came and of course our special weekend guests, Aunt Chris and Mason. The Astros won (woohoo) over the Padres. Cooper slept through the middle half but he had a good time. In fact, most of his awake time he kept telling us that he was going to play out there when he grows up - he's going to throw the ball. I'm okay with a pitcher in the family! So we ended the day with more cake and since Mimi and Papaw Ronnie weren't at the party to sing, we did it all again! Truly a birthday WEEK!

Lake day!

Before Chris and Mason left, they had to get in some lake time (especially since snow was in the forecast for Edmonton). We couldn't let them go alone :) so the kids played hooky from school and we did from work. The things you do for family! It was a gorgeous day and so smooth and nice. Much nicer than being at work!

Cooper's Birthday Party

Cooper's birthday party was on May 9 and it was extra special this year with the surprise guests that came - Aunt Chris and Mason!! What a treat!! It was Cooper's "baseball party" and he had a blast.

Cooper's Birthday #3!!!!!

Sunday was Cooper's birthday. He woke up to presents from Kennedy, and then we went to the lake with Grandma .. and Marshall and Ginger met us there. I forgot the camera but Kennedy caught 3 fish...catfish YIKES so they all got thrown back. We came home and had our traditional Birthday Teddy Bear Pictures!
